How To Use This Help

Agent Commissions

This guide will cover how to use the Agent Commissions ability. Specifically how to manage and track the payments that are made to the Agents within your system.

From the Agent Commissions page you will be able to filter by which Agent you wish to view, the Invoice Date and/or the Service Date. However, you are not required to filter by any fields.

You will not be able to pay an Agent until there is a Paid Invoice linked to the Student's enrolment

How to Pay an Agent - Basic Steps

  1. Choose Finance → Agent Commissions.

  2. If applicable, select an Invoice Date, Service Date or Agent to filter by.

  3. Click Submit.

  4. Select the tick-box to the left of the Agent's Name you wish to make a payment to. 
    • Please Note - You may select Multiple Agents here.
    • Please Note - To select all agent, select the tick-box on the top left-hand corner of the table.

Create a New Batch

  1. Follow the Basic Steps above.
  2. Click Add to Batch.
    • If you wish to change the name of the Batch, edit the text in the text box to the right of the 'Add new Batch' button.
  3. Once you have created a batch, you will automatically be redirected to the Batch Commissions tab to view your Batch. 

Add to an Existing Batch 

  1. Follow the Basic Steps above.
  2. To the right of the  'Add new Batch' button, change the Drop down menu from 'New Batch' to the name of your Existing Batch.
  3. Click Add to Batch.
  4. Once you have created a batch, you will automatically be redirected to the Batch Commissions tab to view your Batch.

Paying a Agents in a Batch

  1. Follow the Basic Steps above.
  2. Create a Batch as mentioned Above.
  3. Select the tick-box to the left of the Agent's Name you wish to make a payment to. 
    • Please Note - You may select Multiple Agents here.
    • Please Note - To select all agent, select the tick-box on the top left-hand corner of the table.
  4. Click Edit Selected Items.
  5. Fill in the Form, For more detail on this, please see the Notes for Specific Fields below.
  6. Click Apply to Selected.
  7. Click Submit.

Download a .CSV File of Paid Commissions

  1. Choose Finance → Agent Commissions.
  2. Click the Batched Commissions tab.
  3. If applicable, select an Invoice Date, Batch, Payment or Agent to filter by.

  4. Tick the tick-box for  (Download results as CSV file).
  5. Click Submit.

Notes For Specific Fields

Field NameField Note
Agent Commissions - Edit Selected Items/Batched Commissions
 Payment MethodThis is the Payment Method that is recorded against the Payment Record. Select the applicable payment method from the drop-down menu.
ReferenceThis reference is for internal purposes only and can contain the information applicable to you. E.g. a payment reference from the finance system you use to issue the payments.
NoteThis is where you can enter any notes that are applicable to this. For example - "Student paid late".
Mark as PaidUpon ticking this option, a new field will appear to allow you to select the date this was paid. You are able to back-date or future date this value.
